Allez Cuisine!

Today I spent way too much time wandering around Ikea. They were having a we pay the taxes sale, so not spending lots of money there would have been like throwing money away. We actually did pretty well, only managing to squander $40 and getting some cool kitchen gadgets in exchange. My favorite new toys: a wok we scored for $10.00 and a heat resistant plastic wok ladle. This means I'll be spending even more time playing iron chef now pretending to be iron chef Chinese Chen Kenichi. I got to make some waffles for breakfast today, and now that my hand/stand mixer lives here with me it may officially be time to retire the Man's Mixer. The world just wasn't ready for such a great concept.
