I have had some weeks in my life that I wished I was someone else. (One was 3 weeks ago when I was working 60 hours through the 3rd week of a sinus infection that wouldn't go away) I've had some weeks I'd like to forget. I've had some weeks that were pretty good, I've even had some great weeks. But, the last seven days it has been a really good week to be me. W's Aunt Peggy GAVE us a car, suddenly making us a 2 car family. That means I get the Jeep as a hand me down. It also means it's no longer necessary for me to trudge half a mile up hill both ways in a driving rainstorm to the bus stop. That has to be better for my health. So you're thinking to yourself, what could be better than a free car to a guy riding the bus? How about the job you'd been daydreaming about since orientation day at grad school. Where they said "What ever you do, don't accept a job for less than 50 K, it will bring down the schools numbers. Good numbers for the school mean your degree is well regarded in the job market." Well Dr. B, despite how much I disliked you by the time I was done, I have granted your wish. I can hereby announce that my MBA from the University of South Florida (it has to be spelled out here, USF is something else out this direction) is finally worth the paper on which it is printed. Anyway, I have another cold, am tired from working so much, but that still didn't stop this from being...
The Best Week Ever!
